Research Plan
I started off this 'My Culture' Project with a Research Plan to help me gain a better understanding of the topic and the word Culture. After researching different types of culture groups, me and my group sat down to decide on various subjects that we could possibly do our film on. We decided on the categories of LGBT, Mental Health, Race and Religion. At least one these topics involve or effect all of us. This can be worked to our advantage as we will be working with subjects that we understand and can put our own personal twist on things when coming to putting a film together. With our topics chosen I began deeply researching everything we will need to know to pull off a successful project. This is my research below:
Audience Research
After conducting a thorough Research Plan for the upcoming My Culture Project, I then moved onto further investigating Culture to my audience. I asked various members of the public, friends and family to write 3 words they associate with culture as a whole. The bigger the words shown within the image, the more people have chosen that word. For example, the word 'Religion' has been used most within this diagram, followed by traditions, food, family and race. Using this research method has better helped me understand the meaning of culture through my audience's point of view. So forth I will be aiming and considering using these topics within my Project.

Personal Research
After now completing research from both the internet and my audience I moved onto what I would want to see from a culture film and what Culture means to me.
Many people would consider me to be categorized and involved with various different cultures however, I don't believe I identify with one. I am a Christian but unlike most religious cultural groups, I do not act upon my religion. I do not go to church nor do I pray or believe in god. I also suffer with many Mental Health issues yet I never talk up about them or involve myself with other people throughout that community. And so, I believe I have my own individual culture which isn't defined by another.
During my life I involve myself with different parts of various cultures. For example, I eat the foods from race cultures such as Indian's and Chinese and I listen to music from country. This is the case with many other people. Cultures inspire and share with other groups making culture the centre of our life's.
If I was to create a culture film myself I would choose to do it based on my family. My family's culture is very personal to me in the fact that we have our traditions that have been brought down from generations and we have our own quirky way of doing daily activities during our life's.
